Our Team
Bedingfeld Park is managed by a voluntary Board of Management and governed by a constitution. The Board meets each month and receives reports on the financial situation of the facility, the occupancy rate and governance, maintenance and staffing issues. The Board strategically plans and assesses the future needs of aged care in the community to ensure Bedingfeld Park can continue to provide for the older generation in our area.
Our Manager, Deborah McLeod, a Registered Nurse who has had extensive experience in acute sector nursing, has been the Manager at Bedingfeld Park since 2000.
Deborah is responsible for the management of the facility, including financial, human resource, admissions processes and ensuring Bedingfeld Park maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements as set down by the Aged Care Act 1997 and governed by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing.
Donna Langdon, Care Manager, is a Registered Nurse who has specialised in aged care. Donna manages the day to day care of the residents, provides support to the Carers and is available for consultation with residents and relatives.
Bedingfeld Park has an Enrolled Nurse, Kay Prendegast who assists the Care Manager with clinical management.
Suzanne Laird, Administration Manager manages the financial side of the facility. She is supported by an Administrative Assistant / Receptionist.
Our wonderful hotel service staff ensure the rooms, bathrooms and communal areas are kept clean, tidy and in order.
Catering services are contracted to Murray District Hospital kitchen and freshly cooked meals are provided twice a day, with the option of vegetarian dishes if required. Breakfast, morning and afternoon teas and suppers are provided in-house.
